Introduction to IRIX (T4-CHOICE)<../h1> This course helps novice users become self-sufficient with the Silicon Graphics Operating System (IRIX). SGI's IRIX operating system is based on the UNIX operating system and includes merged features from both Berkeley and AT&T System V Release 4. Students will learn how to use essential operating system tools, commands, and utilities. The course focus is learning IRIX commands and using these commands entered from a shell window.
