BASILE is computer-aided control design and processing software for treating automation design problems in all their diversity (determination of optimal gains, stability analysis, linear or nonlinear simulation, algebraic handling of the representation of state or transfer matrices, frequential analysis); for creating, simply and easily, a specific environment dedicated to users' needs; for incorporating users' application software in the base library and inserting their functionalities into the BASILE environment; for facilitated handling of the various types of entities used in automation and signal processing via a specific resident database; for creation and handling of macro-instructions written in BASILE as well as basic functions written in Fortran; and for results display in numeric or graphic form.
