IMIS is an advanced information system for police, fire brigade and security control rooms. It contains vectorized maps, plans of buildings, photographs and company information. It is possible to zoom in or out at any level, from a large country area to details within a building.
Other functions are: tracing and tracking (vehicles, boats and planes moving on the map); status information on vehicles, boats and planes; projection of activated detectors (fire and burglary alarms) on the plan of a building, bank, gas station etc.; integration of live video images from incident locations including storage of the images on hard disk; and specific information for police and fire brigades such as projection of endangered areas in case of gas emissions.
