MEGIS is an interactive, polygon-based Geographic Information System and Computer Assisted Mapping System. It is a planar geographic information system for natural resource information management. Data entry is manually input through a digitizer tablet. Supported data sources are maps, digital elevation models, aerial photographs that are orthographically corrected within the system, and other tabular information.
