NE ISDN Router

The NE ISDN Router, version 3.0, supplies bandwidth-on-demand for companies who need to transmit LAN data from multiple sites who have networks consisting of Silicon Graphics' Indy workstations over a Wide Area Network. Inverse multiplexing is used to combine channels to acquire the desired bandwidth on demand using ISDN Basic Rate, ISDN Primary Rate, Switched 56, Frame Relay, and dedicated access, or a combination thereof. It provides routing for IP and bridges all other protocols to serve all network environments. It also complements dedicated leased line networks for peak traffic off-loading, automatic back-up for high reliability, and connectivity to remote sites which cannot justify the cost of a dedicated line.
