MERET's VGL2000 Series high-resolution fiber optic video and data transmission products provide the user with effective and reliable solutions for remoting RGB images to workstations, monitors, printing and storage devices at distance up to a kilometer. This product series offers optional RS-232 or RS-422 data channels which suport remoting extensions of keyboards, mouse, graphic tablet, and other input devices.
Applications for these 120 MHz links include remoting high resolution graphics, CAD/CAM/CAE, medical imaging, virtual reality, computer animation, flight simualtion, air traffic control, stock trading, and military C4I.
