L-Edit/Extract(tm)

L-Edit/Extract(tm) is a progammable extractor that allows devices and nets to be extracted from layout into a Spice format netlist. This netlist can be used for detailed simulation or for comparison against a schematic with Tanner's LVS module. L-Edit/Extract allows designers to define devices and connections. Layers specified in these definitions can either be normal design layers or programmable unions and intersections of layers. The domain decomposition algorithm in L-Edit/Extract also allows users to extract large designs with time increasing only n

log(n) with design size. CIF and GDS II layout database formats are supported.
