OnliSafe(tm) is basic power monitoring and shutdown software that interfaces with an Exide Electronics Powerware Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS). In the event of a power loss, OnliSafe performs an unattended, orderly system shutdown after a user-defined time period or upon a low battery signal from the UPS. Messages are broadcast to logged-in users and can be customized by the system administrator. OnliSafe allows the user to add specific routines to be run at the time of certain events and before the system shutdown. These user-modifiable scripts are activated upon power loss, power restoration, low battery, and system shutdown conditions.
