OFE2PAN is a panel creation preprocessor for AeroHydro's Doublet/Source Aerodynamics (DSA) potential flow code. OFE2PAN is used to create sailing yacht/canoe body panelizations from FAIRLINE(R) system offset files. The user can create an offset file with Fairline/2, AutoYACHT, or MacSurf, or by digitizing a body plan. OFE2PAN allows the user to specify rise, trim and heel, size, and location of centerline opening for appendages and longitudinal and transverse panel density. OFE2PAN creates a DSA panel file containing a well-ordered set of panels from the offset file, properly trimmed at the calculated waterline.
