GASP(tm) Version 3.0 is a computational fluid dynamics tool that solves the Navier-Stokes (NS), Thin-layer NS, Parabolized NS and Euler equations on structured grids with a wide range of thermo-chemical modeling options. It is a significant extension of the widely used computational fluid dynamics simulation tool GASP 2.2. Some of the new features found in Version 3.0 include support for parallel processing, preconditioning, multi-grid, general zonal boundary interpolation, extended mesh sequencing, fully or loosely coupled chemistry and turbulence models, and several physical modeling extensions (particularly for very high temperature flows). One of the many benefits of this product is its generality, allowing the user to replace several CFD codes with a single product. Due to its new low speed capability, the markets for this product include the aerospace, automobile, train, and biomedical industries. Version 3.0 will execute on a variety of UNIX-based platforms.
