Sage2D - A Simplified Self-Adaptive Grid Method

Sage2D is a 2-D implementation of the Self-Adaptive Grid Evolution program. Solution-adaptive grid methods are useful tools for efficient and accurate flow predictions. In supersonic and hypersonic flows, strong gradient regions such as shocks, contact discontinuities, shear layers, etc., require careful distribution of grid points to minimize grid error and produce accurate flow structures. Sage2D obtains accurate solutions by intelligently redistributing (that is, adapting) the original grid points based on an initial flow-field solution. The user then computes a new solution using the adapted grid. Source code is included.
