C2*Crystal Growth Workbench

• Crystal Growth Workbench is a particular set of modules within the Cerius2 environment. This integrated system combines advanced molecular modeling techniques and Computational Instruments, and is tailored to study and assist the solution of crystallization related problems, e.g.:

- Crystal shape prediction and control by rationally designed additives

- The effects of solvents, excipients and impurities on crystal shape

- Interpretation of diffraction patterns; crystal structure refinement

- Prediction of physico-chemical properties

- Prediction and control of polymorphism

- Preferential crystallization of metastable polymorphs
