The Cambridge Structural Database System (CSD) contains experimental 3-D coordinate data, together with chemical connectivity tables and bibliographic text for approximately 100,000 organic molecules. The CSD is supplied with the programs QUEST, GSTAT, and PLUTO for search, statistical analysis, and graphical display. The CSD is widely used in industrial and academic research as a unique source of experimentally determined structural data. Applications include drug design, molecular modeling, and crystallography.
