hello

i try to install an EVO card in my son's octane, i have plug the flat ribbon, and when i switch up, i have this message in the prom diag

XIO slot linkfailure
check or replace: XIO device 11

odsy hardware found x0x

the config of this octane is:

single R12k 400, 512Mb, SI+Tram....

While trying to re-bring to life my two EMXI+ESI octanes one of the ESI cards makes them to "spit" this error:

XIO Slot link Failure
XIO Device 11

if the card is in slot B
and

XIO Slot link Failure
XIO Device 9

if the card is in slot C

It works ok with the ESI card from the other Octane in either slot. The "broken" ESI worked ok last year :( Is my ESI dead or dead ? If it's dead what can i use instead of a XIO slot filler ?
